Project Title:
Eat or survive the heat: How indoor heat stress and economic vulnerability shape household wellbeing
Abstract:

This study investigates how households experiencing poverty balance rising cooling needs with other essential expenses as temperatures increase. By examining household consumption patterns and cooling capacity, the research aims to identify specific sources of vulnerability linked to the tradeoffs households make to maintain access to cooling. The project seeks to better understand how rising summer cooling burdens affect well-being and essential household needs.
