Abstract:
During my time working for the Santa Cruz Departmental Government–one of Bolivia's Amazonian states sharing a frontier with Brazil–I mostly focused on the final edits, the roll-out, and the implementation plan for the new Departmental Climate Change Policy. This Climate Change Policy represents the first department-wide climate change policy to be released in the country. I also assisted with building bridges between the government and environmental NGOs that can offer funding connections as well as technical support.
