Abstract:
As part of a multi-site research initiative of The Forests Dialogue (TFD), I collaborated with The Center for People and Forests (RECOFTC) to perform research on drivers of land use change and stakeholder engagement in Myanmar’s second largest lake, Inle Lake. My research consisted of stakeholder mapping, key informant interviews and focus group discussions, to reveal visions and concerns on the landscape in order to reconcile competing land uses through a multi-stakeholder dialogue.
