Abstract:
This study examines how small-scale water purification projects in Egypt’s Western Desert are viewed by funders, practitioners and community members, and identify areas of convergence and divergence between their perspectives. It also seeks to identify factors that influence what information from the complex reality of communities is communicated in donor reports, and how decisions about project priorities and resource allocation are made throughout the development process.
